OFFICIAL: Riqui Puig goes to MLS!
Riqui Puig, the midfielder, trained at FC Barcelona, signs on the side of Los Angeles Galaxy until 2025! Announced as a big nugget, the Spaniard never knew how to meet expectations and did not fit into Xavi’s plans.
Quite a surprising choice but Riqui Puig leaves FC Barcelona and join the United States! Indeed, the Blaugranas have formalized the departure of the 22-year-old player from Los Angeles Galaxy! In the statement, the FCB said that a percentage of 50% has been included in case of future sale. The transfer amount has, however, not yet been announced.

Riqui Puig had been able to scratch playing time when Ronald Koeman was Barcelona coach. Playing 28 games under the Dutch coach, he scored only one goal. Last season, the Spanish midfielder took part in 17 matchesfor just one small accomplishment. His contract ran until 2023 and Xavi no longer counted on him.
