Official, Philadelphia Union signs Richard Odada

The Philadelphia Union announced on Tuesday evening the official signing of Richard Odada from Red Star Belgrade.
The 21-year-old defensive midfielder joins the Pennsylvania club on a two-and-a-half-year contract with an option for the third and fourth years. Odada comes from Red Star Belgrade. The Kenyan has previously played at Grafičar Beograd (loan, 2020), Metalac Gornji Milanovac (loan, 2021-2022) and Grafičar Beograd (loan, 2022).

The team is currently leading the Eastern Conference of the North American Major Soccer League (USA and Canada) with 45 points after 23 rounds. Founded in 2008, the Philadelphia Union won the Conference in 2020 and finished second in the 2021 season.
