Formula 1 announced on Friday the renewal of the contract for the Spanish Grand Prix, which will therefore be held on the Barcelona track in Catalonia at least until 2026.
As part of the new agreement, improvements will be made to the track and facilities before the next race on May 22, 2022, including upgrades and improvements to the circuit’s ambitious sustainability plans.

The Spanish Grand Prix is therefore guaranteed to be on the Formula 1 calendar for another five years on the Catalan route.
