NHL: Vegas Golden Knights return to an all-over victory over Dallas
It was written that in this beginning of western conference finals, the loser of each game would not score a goal. After going 1-0 in favor of Dallas in Game 1, the Vegas Golden Knights responded by winning 3-0 Tuesday night in Edmonton in Game 2.
Back in goal after being replaced by Marc-André Fleury in the previous game, Robin Lehner made 24 saves and proved impassable for the Dallas forwards. But it all happened in the second period with the three goals scored by the Golden Knights.
Paul Stastny opened the scoring (1-0, 25th), followed four minutes later by William Karlsson (2-0, 29th). Tomas Nosek (3-0, 35th) gave a little more room to Vegas which made a point of honor to offer a fourth shutout (all over the last seven matches) in these play-offs to Lehner.
The two teams will meet on Thursday for Game 3. Wednesday, it will be around the Eastern Conference to play in Game 2 between the New York Islanders and the Tampa Bay Lightning, ultra-domineering at the opening of the series (8-2 victory ).
