After a two-day break, in protest of police shooting against African-American Jacob Blake, the NHL conference semifinals resumed last night with the Las Vegas Golden Knights winning over the Vancouver Canucks, Antoine Roussel’s team.
The Golden Knights, who regain the advantage (2-1) in their series, won 3-0, thanks to goals from Alex Tuch, Zach Whitecloud and Mark Stone.
In the Eastern Conference, the New York Islanders regained control 2-1 in the series against the Flyers. For its part, Tampa Bay won 3-1 against Boston, thanks to a brace from Ondrej Palat and a goal from Victor Hedman. The Lightning now leads 3-1 to the 2019 Stanley Cup finalists.
