Columbus Blue Jackets-Buffalo Sabers: 4-9
CBJ Goals: Wool (2), Nyquist (2)
BUF Goals: Cozens, Thompson (5), Dahlin, Krebs, Tuch
There was no match, Columbus took the water from all sides to already be trailing 6-0 after 16’40 of play. Of this evening, we will of course remember the five goals (6 points in total) of Tagus Thompson and the two doubles of Laine and Nyquist which will therefore have been useless.
The Swiss Tim Berni was playing his second career NHL game on this occasion. He got 19’16 of ice time and an excellent neutral record given the circumstances.
