NHL: Manon Rhéaume at the star game

Quebec goalkeeper Manon Rhéaume will put on her pads for the National Hockey League (NHL) All-Star Game.

This is what the circuit announced on Monday. Accompanied by actor Wyatt Russell, who also has professional experience, the one who wore the Tampa Bay Lightning uniform during a preseason game in 1992 will be automatically for the breakaway test during the skills competition.

In addition to the five traditional events – fastest skater, streak stops, most powerful shot, most accurate and breakaways – two new events will take place on Saturday in Las Vegas.

First, a precision test will take place right in the middle of the famous Bellagio fountains. Then, players will have to play a game of Blackjack with giant cards on the equally famous “Strip”.

The skills contest will precede the All-Star Game itself, which will take place on Sunday at T-Mobile Arena. The four sections of the NHL will face off in a 3-on-3 tournament.
