NHL: Hischier, Siegenthaler and Malgin score – rts.ch
Sixth victory in nine games for the New Jersey Devils in the NHL. And Nico Hischier and Jonas Siegenthaler scored in the 7-1 win over Columbus.
Everything is working right now for the Newark franchise, the same for the Haut-Valais center which has 9 points in 8 games. After serving Fabian Zetterlund for the opener, the 1st choice of the 2017 draft went solo in the 2nd third from his defensive zone before beating Merzlikins.
Siegenthaler scored it 5-1 on power-play. This is the second goal with the Devils for the Zurich defender. New Jersey really shot the opposing cage with 52 shots!
Malgin goalscorer but beaten
Scorer on October 12 against Montreal at the start of the season, Denis Malgin also found the net. However, the Solothurn’s success did not prevent Toronto’s 4-3 ap defeat in Anaheim.
Malgin made it 2-1 in the 18th minute. On a golden serve from William Nylander, the former Lausanne and Zurich player unstoppably beat goalkeeper John Gibson in the backhand.
