Former Geneva-Servette and Cleveland Monsters player Nathan Sheaf announced that he was retiring. The 35-year-old American, who spent two seasons on the shores of Lake Geneva between 2016 and 2018, will take up a development coaching position with the Nashville Predators.

In Tennessee, he will replace another known face in Switzerland, Sebastien Bordeleau. The Franco-Canadian joins the coaching staff and will now assist the coach John Hynes. During his career, Gerbe played 435 NHL games for 151 points.
