The National Hockey League (NHL) has announced its final list of prospects for the next draft. Mauricie is very well represented with the names of Guillaume Richard, Zachary Bolduc, Joaquim Lemay and Jacob Guévin.
Bolduc, who only played 27 games this season with the Rimouski Océanic, still collected 29 points in the process. Sa 17e place among the North American skaters suggests that the Bécancourois could come out in the first round of the next draft.
Having chosen the American voice, defenders Guillaume Richard (Tri-City) and Jacob Guévin (Muskegon) come to 32e and 56e echelon. Richard has 16 points in 46 games this season, while Guévin, of Saint-Léonard-d’Aston, has 45 points in 53 games in the USHL.
From Saint-Pierre-les-Becquets, Joaquim Lemay, who has signed a verbal agreement with the University of Nebraska, comes to 224e rank. The offensive defenseman has 10 points in 15 games this season in the BCHL.
Remember that the four players went through the Denis Francoeur Hockey Academy and that the draft is scheduled for July 23 to 24.
