NHL Daily Betting Guide: November 27
Getting a little skin in the game can make NHL hockey even more exciting.
During the 2021-22 season, Daily Faceoff will help you become an improved bettor with this betting model and our betting tools.
Each day we will look at each match, the sports betting odds (via PointsBet) and the odds of winning of each team based on the model created by Philippe Bulsink. Based on these two numbers, we can quickly identify which teams to bet on, which teams to avoid and which lines to watch throughout the day.
You can quickly determine which teams are the best bets by following this simple table:

All « recommended bets » are bets of 1 unit.
I will also provide analysis on the best bets and update this post throughout the day to report big news on injuries, roster changes and the departure of substitute goalkeepers.
The number to watch is the « Diff ». which is the percentage difference between the model’s projected Win% and the projected Win% based on PointsBet odds. To find out how odds turn into percentages, use our odds calculator.

Recommended bets
Florida Panthers (vs. SEA)
It’s just another day the model picks the expansion team. It worked again yesterday, so why change the formula? The Panthers come off a rare last night but return to Florida on Saturday, where they are undefeated this season. The Panthers are 11-0-0 with an average of 4.55 goals for and 2.09 goals against at FLA Live Arena. As I mentioned yesterday, the road has not been lenient for the Kraken, they are 1-7-1 with an average of 2.11 goals for and 4.00 goals against in nine games on the road.
1 unit bet: FLA -190
Vegas Golden Knights (vs. EDM)
I had avoided the suggestions of the Golden Knights model because of their highs, but they are slowly regaining their full health. They should recover Jonathan Marchessault on Saturday and all that is missing is William Karlsson and Nolan Patrick in their roster at the start of the season.
Even as injuries were mounting, Vegas have won six of their last seven home games averaging 4.14 goals for and 2.86 goals against. This team is always hard to beat at « The Fortress ».
Bet 1 unit: VGK -120
Calgary Flames (vs WPG)
Things are preparing well for the Flames. They have been waiting at home since Tuesday as the Jets traveled from Winnipeg to Columbus, Minnesota to Calgary in six days. They were bombed last night against the Wild, and their attack is completely dormant. Winnipeg is on a five-game losing streak and has scored just five goals in that span. A meeting with the best defense in the league will help.
1 unit bet: CGY -150
Game choice
Yaremchuk’s choice: FLA -1.5 (+115) – against SEA
The Florida Panthers have a perfect 11-0 home record and tonight they can set the record for most consecutive home wins to start the season. They will face a Kraken team who are 1-7-1 on the road and just lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning last night. They will also face Chris Driedger between the posts, who has a 4.74 goals-against average. There are many reasons to believe that the Panthers will ride the Kraken.
Choice of accessories
Yaremchuk’s pick: Nazem Kadri Over 0.6 assists (+125) – vs. NSH
Before last night, Kadri had collected at least one assist in eight consecutive games. This streak has ended but I love that Kadri comes back on the scoresheet tonight. I don’t like the Avalanche winning this game, but a +125 win for a guy who averages more than one assist per game is just too juicy to be left out. I’m on this one.
