You can quickly determine which teams are the best bets by following this simple table:
All « recommended bets » are bets of 1 unit.
I will also provide analysis on the best bets and update this post throughout the day to report big news on injuries, roster changes and the departure of substitute goalkeepers.
The number to watch is the « Diff ». which is the percentage difference between the model’s projected Win% and the projected Win% based on PointsBet odds. To find out how odds turn into percentages, use our odds calculator.

Nashville Predators (@ TOR)
It’s certainly a tough game for the Predators, but they’re worth enough value at +167 for the model to recommend a bet. Nashville surprised everyone in the first month of the season and entered Toronto on a three-game winning streak. They are among the top 10 defensive teams in hockey, ranking fourth in xGA / 60 (2.05), 12th in SCA / 60 (26.18) and seventh in HDCA / 60 (9.46). Toronto is one of the best offensive teams in the league, so it will be an intriguing battle. Saros is able to steal this game for the underdogs. He’s 6-0-1 with a GAA of 1.69 and SV% of .944 in his last seven starts.
