NHL: Bryan Rust signs long-term contract with Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins chose not to wait to offer forward Bryan Rust a long-term deal.
According to what Darren Dreger reports from TSN Saturday, the Penguins signed Rust for multiple seasons. The organization confirmed in the evening having offered a six-year pact and $ 30.75 million to the attacker.
Rust was eligible for full autonomy after completing the final year of a pact earning him an annual salary of $3.5 million.
The 30-year-old right winger has just completed his seventh campaign with the Pennsylvania team.
Alongside Sidney Crosby and Jake Guentzel, he has just had his best offensive production in the NHL, 58 points (24-34) in 60 games.
He joined the Penguins in 2014-15 after being a 3rd round pick in the 2010 draft.
