NHL announces player assignments for 2023 All-Star Skills Contest
The NHL has released the full roster of entrants for the 2023 NHL All-Star Skills Contest, which takes place Friday at FLA Live Arena in Florida.
The competition will feature three new events, the Enterprise NHL Splash Shot, Discover NHL Tendy Tandem and Chipotle NHL Pitch ‘n Puck. The Splash Shot event will pit participants against each other on a beach in Fort Lauderdale as they shoot targets to wet their opponents.
For the fashionable tandem challenge, an NHL statement states that “shooting goalies will earn points based on the accuracy of their shots at the net, and goalies in the net will face rushes. of three, two or one player(s), depending on the number of points won by the goalkeeper who shoots in his tandem.
The Pitch ‘n Puck challenge will ask players to shoot a combination of hockey and golf shots, with the winner being the one with the lowest score.
