With the release of the new NHL 23 scheduled for two weeks from now EA Sports unveiled this morning a new video in which we were presented with the novelties in the game modes this year.
Among the novelties that particularly catch the attention, the Franchise mode will let us create leagues with the number of teams that we want (up to a maximum of 48) including teams from all leagues, including those with vintage players.
It will also be possible to change a multitude of regulations, such as the number of points allocated for a victory or an overtime victory, etc.
We are also told that it will be possible to change the format of the playoffs by adding a wild card round where a certain number of teams will have to play a suicide match to qualify for the playoffs.
These are changes that will give players much appreciated freedom.
