NFL: Tom Brady, still the best player according to his peers


Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is once again the best player in the NFL according to his peers.

The 45-year-old has reclaimed the No. 1 spot on the NFL’s top 100 best players, which polled its players heading into the 2022 season. This is the fourth time Brady has has found itself at the top since the annual poll began in 2011. Brady has never been ranked lower than 14e step (in 2020),

Brady set records for completions (485) and passing yards (5,316) while throwing 43 touchdowns against just six interceptions in his 22nd season in the league last year.

Los Angeles Rams defensive end Aaron Donald is ranked second, ahead of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp and Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor, who complete in order the top-5.
