NFL: Tom Brady contracted COVID-19 after Buccaneers parade
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady revealed in an interview with the Tampa Bay Times that he contracted COVID-19 shortly after the Bucs’ parade in February.
Brady also believes COVID-19 will be a bigger challenge this season, even though the Buccaneers have a 100% vaccination rate. Tampa is the second team to reach this threshold after the Atlanta Falcons.
« I think it’s going to be a bigger factor this year than last season, just because of what we’re doing now, what the stadium is going to be like, the travel and because of the fans and the people in the stadium, » Brady explained.
“It’s not like last season, although we will be tested like last year. I believe that some players will be absent and we will have to live with their absence. «
