NFL: The Los Angeles Rams, a team on the move
The Rams reside in Los Angeles but they’ve come a long way to get there. They went from Cleveland to Los Angeles, then to St. Louis before returning to Los Angeles, winning a Championship in each city.
Five seasons after moving to St. Louis, the Rams won the 34th Super Bowl in 1999, with a team dubbed « The Greatest Show on Turf, » which wowed fans with its high-flying offense and records. During that season, quarterback Kurt Warner went from backup to league and Super Bowl MVP.
With legends like Eric Dickerson and Marshall Faulk, the Rams had some of the best running backs of all time. And current defenseman Aaron Donald is rising to legendary status.
In 2016, the Rams returned to Los Angeles. They play in the new SoFi Stadium, which will host the next Super Bowl.
