NFL: the Cardinals without their head coach

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury is one of the Arizona Cardinals who tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.

As a result, the 42-year-old will be sidelined in Sunday’s clash against the Browns in Cleveland. So do quarterbacks coach Cam Turner and defensive lineman Zach Allen.

According to the NFL Network, the general manager of the « Cards », Steve Keim, also tested positive for the virus. He will therefore not accompany his club to Ohio.

For its part, the Goodell circuit does not intend to make any changes for the game between the Cardinals and the Browns, despite the outbreak at the Arizona team. However, this will be subject to more stringent protocols and all members of the organization will be screened for COVID-19 daily, until the confrontation.

Last September, Kingsbury said all of his players had been vaccinated against the virus.

The « Cards » are the only formation of the NFL which is still undefeated after five weeks of activity. For their part, the Browns maintained a 3-2 record.
