Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes is now one of the owners of Sporting Kansas City, in MLS. Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who signed the biggest potential contract in U.S. sports history a year ago, is now a member of Sporting Kansas City (SKC), in MLS. Winner of the 2020 Superbowl and already co-owner of the city’s baseball franchise (MLB), the Royals, at 25, Mahomes, whose fiancée Brittany Matthews, is also co-owner of the city’s soccer club in NWSL, assured: “I am grateful for being able to join the owners of Sporting KC and strengthen my bond with the fans and the city I love. Sporting is community driven, and I’m excited to continue to support the growth of soccer in Kansas City. «  The SKC has two French people this season: Nicolas Isimat-Mirin and Rémi Walter.
