NFL scout Mical Johnson a trailblazer for the Tennessee Titans

NASHVILLE – Following promotions to the Titans’ recruiting staff, Mical Johnson becomes the first woman to work full-time at this unit in Tennessee.

She will support Blaise Taylor and Matt Miller, who are moving from assistant to recruiter at the professional and university level, respectively.

Johnson will be helping with player evaluation, monitoring which athletes become available, and preparing for the draft and when free agents can be hired.

She was an intern with the Titans last fall.

This comes on top of a wave of women securing prominent NFL positions including Catherine Raîche, the Eagles’ new vice president of football operations.

Last month, the Broncos made Kelly Kleine their executive director of football operations and special advisor to the general manager.
