(Boston) The New England Patriots have reached a three-season, $ 22.5 million deal with wide-end Kendrick Bourne.
His agent, Henry Organ, announced the deal on Tuesday. The new pacts won’t be official until the start of the league’s new fiscal year on Wednesday.
The Patriots have entered the offseason in search of wide-spread winger in the free agent market, with a budget of just over $ 65 million to do so.
The Pats’ wide ends scored just four touchdowns last season.
Bourne, 25, caught 11 touchdown passes in four seasons with the 49ers of San Francisco. He will show up for Foxborough after having had his career best season in 2020, by virtue of his 49 catches for 667 yards.
