NFL | Panthers fire two coaches
(Charlotte) Carolina Panthers interim head coach Steve Wilks fired two assistants Monday, less than 24 hours after the embarrassing 42-21 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

During that loss, the Panthers allowed a team-high 35 first-half points.
Wilks fired cornerbacks coach Evan Cooper and defensive line coach Paul Pasqualoni.
Cooper had been with the club since 2020, while Pasqualoni joined the Panthers before the start of the season.
The Panthers are 2-7. They will host the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday.
