NFL: Lane Johnson back with the Eagles
Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson returns with his team after a two-week absence to deal with his mental health.
The announcement of Johnson, 31’s inactivity, had caused some surprise ahead of the Eagles’ Oct. 3 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. His replacement, Jack Driscoll, said he was briefed just hours before the game.
The team said at the time that Johnson was dealing with a personal matter.
Johnson has opened up about football anxiety in the past. One of his best friends, guard Brandon Brooks, has missed several games during his career due to an anxiety-related illness
Johnson missed three games.
