NFL: Jerry Jones involved in road accident
Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones was involved in a minor car accident Wednesday night in Dallas and taken to a local hospital as a precaution, a source confirmed to ESPN.
Cowboys executive vice-president Stephen Jones told ESPN in a text message that his father was back home and all was well.
The WFAA, citing multiple Dallas law enforcement sources, reported Jones had an accident just before 8:10 p.m. Emergency crews were called to the scene and Jones reportedly suffered minor injuries.
It is unclear if Jones, 79, was driving.
A Dallas police spokesperson said the department does not release the names of people involved in crashes unless there is a death.
