NFL: four games presented on Sunday on the various antennas of RDS
Four NFL games will be presented on Sunday on the various channels of RDS. Here is a taste of it:
Morning match in England
PRE-MATCH
RDS2, RDS Direct – 9:30 a.m.
Two teams with a 1-3 record, the New York Jets and Atlanta Falcons, crossed the Atlantic to face off at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday morning.
On the one hand, the Jets will try to build on their first win of the campaign, signed last week in overtime (27-24) against the Tennessee Titans.
The Falcons, who will be the home team for this meeting, will look to recover from the 34-30 loss to Washington’s football team last weekend. They will then enjoy a week off.
The Jets and Falcons have decided to train at home until Thursday before flying to England.
Tom Brady reunites with the Dolphins
PRE-MATCH
RDS, RDS Direct – 1 p.m.
For the first time since Tom Brady left the American Association’s East Division to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-1), the Miami Dolphins (1-3) will face the legendary quarterback.
Brady has defeated the Dolphins 23 times during his career, amassing 8,185 yards and 67 touchdowns in 35 regular season games.
The 44-year-old quarterback doesn’t seem to be slowing down, currently sitting second in the NFL for yards this season and tied for third in touchdowns with 10. He notably just added a victory to his brilliant record by winning on his old field, against the Patriots, last week.
The Dolphins have lost their last three games. With Tua Tagovailoa sidelined for at least one more game due to broken ribs, Jacoby Brissett will get the start as quarterback.
With ground play to be difficult to establish against the Bucs, who have posted the NFL’s best defense in this area over the past two seasons, the Dolphins are likely to favor air attack this afternoon. Especially since the Dolphins are averaging just 78.31 rushing yards per game this year (28e in the NFL).
The Dolphins travel to London next week to face the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Trey Lance’s first departure
PRE-MATCH
RDS2, RDS Direct – 4 p.m.
Rookie Trey Lance will be the starting quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers in Arizona on Sunday against the Cardinals.
Lance, a must have at the Fantasy level
Jimmy Garoppolo is sidelined with a calf injury.
The 21-year-old Lance was drafted third overall this year.
He came in relief at Garoppolo in the second half on Sunday against Seattle, completing two touchdown passes.
It will be his first start in the NFL on Sunday.
“I feel very well prepared,” said Lance. And for that I give credit to the coaches and the guys around me. They really gave me back help this week. I’m confident. «
Lance had 157 aerial yards (nine in 18). The Seahawks had the last laugh, however, 28-21.
The 49ers have lost two games in a row and are 2-2.
The Cardinals are the only undefeated team in the NFL, at 4-0.
Will the Bills finally have the upper hand over the Chiefs?
PRE-MATCH
RDS, RDS Direct – 8 p.m.
The Buffalo Bills believed they had closed the gap between them and the Kansas City Chiefs last season before losing two games to their old rivals, including the American Association final last January.
Many believe they have narrowed the gap even further this season and the Bills will have the opportunity to show it tonight.
That’s when Josh Allen and the Bills return to Arrowhead Stadium to face Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in what will be the latest chapter in an intensifying rivalry.
The Bills (3-1) just poke fun at the Houston Texans 40-0 and rely on one of the best defensive units on the tour, while the Chiefs (2-2) believe they recovered last week in Philadelphia against the Eagles by putting the brakes on a rare two-game losing streak.
