NFL: duel at the top between star quarterbacks … but in golf

NFL quarterbacks Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen will square off on a golf course in early June.

The first two will form a duo and will therefore compete against a pair made up of the two young sensations of the Goodell circuit in a 12-hole competition.

This is part of the events called “The Match”. It will be the sixth of its kind. So far, the showdowns have raised more than $33 million for various organizations and donated 17 million meals to the non-profit organization Feeding America.

Mahomes and Allen will be in one of these rounds of golf shown on the American network TNT for the first time. For his part, Rodgers had teamed up with professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau against Brady and Phil Mickelson in July 2021.

The holder of seven Super Bowl rings will be making his third appearance at “The Match”. He and Mickelson had crossed swords with Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning in May 2020.
