NFL: DK Metcalf, Breece Hall and Amon-Ra St. Brown among the injured on Sunday

The Seattle Seahawks lost star receiver DK Metcalf to a knee injury against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The injury most likely occurred at the end of the first quarter when he tried to grab a pass at the goal gate. He wasn’t able to make the catch before he went down. He was able to get up on his own to head for the sidelines.

This season, the 24-year-old receiver has scored two touchdowns and rushed for 406 yards.

Breece Hall injured knee

New York Jets impressive rookie Breece Hall suffered a knee injury in the second quarter of the game against the Denver Broncos and did not return to action.

The running back was solidly tackled during a run by several Broncos players and then left the locker room on a cart.

Hall stood out early in the game with a touchdown on a 62-yard run.

St. Brown back in the infirmary

Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown left Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys with a concussion.

After catching a short pass from Jared Goff, St. Brown was tackled by linebacker Anthony Barr and appeared to be shaken in the head. An official called it out right away and the receiver was assessed in a tent before leaving the field in the first quarter.

St. Brown also missed the Lions’ fourth game against the Seahawks with an ankle injury.

Earlier this week, St. Brown mentioned to ESPN that he was at 90% capacity, having spent the Lions bye week in California with his family.

The receiver has amassed three passing touchdowns this season in addition to catching 27 balls. He leads these chapters in the Lions.
