NFL: Alvin Kamara accused of seriously injuring a man


LAS VEGAS — Saints running back Alvin Kamara is accused of hitting and seriously injuring a man in Las Vegas last weekend.

The incident also involves at least three men who were with him at a nightclub on the Strip, according to a police report released Tuesday.

The alleged victim told Las Vegas police that he fell unconscious. Police say video shows the man being punched, kicked and stomped on by three people who accompanied Kamara to Drai’s club on the roof of the Cromwell hotel-casino.

« At no time during this attack (the man) struck or pushed Kamara or any of his associates, » the police report said.

The identities of the other three alleged attackers were withheld from the police report. No other arrests were made. Las Vegas police spokesman Officer Larry Hadfield said the investigation is ongoing.

Police say the attack happened around 6:30 a.m. Saturday outside an elevator at Drai’s, and the alleged victim first spoke with police around 5:30 p.m. from a hospital.
