News – NHL: Vezina Trophy nominees revealed

Although he was a three-time Stanley Cup champion, Marc-André Fleury is finally a finalist at 36 for the Vézina trophy. The Vegas Golden Knights goalie is among the trio of players selected along withAndrei Vasilevskiy, the Tampa Bay Lightning, and Philipp grubauer, Colorado Avalanche.

Marc-André Fleury has won 26 of the 36 games he’s been in this season. He maintained a 1.98 goals-against average and .928 save percentage, in addition to recording 6 shutouts.

Winner of the Vézina trophy in 2019, Andrei Vasilevskiy is a finalist for the 4th time in a row. He won 31 victories. His 2.21 goals-against average is a personal best in seven seasons, as is his .925 save percentage.

The German keeper Philipp grubauer is also a finalist for the first time. He holds the shutout record (with seven) and helped the Avalanche win the Presidents’ trophy. He maintained a 1.95 goals-against average and .922 save percentage.
