News – NHL – Two important signings for the Flames
Calgary Flames management said they have reached an agreement with the defender oliver Kylington whose case was soon to be submitted to arbitration. The player has agreed to a 2-year contract extension which will earn him USD $5 million. The 25-year-old Kylington scored 31 points in 73 games last year and added 3 points in 12 playoff games.
The Alberta club also offered a one-year, two-part contract extension to the center Martin Pospisil. The 22-year-old Slovak played 47 AHL games last year for 25 points.
Eventually, the Flames settled their latest case with a new deal for the striker andrew Mangiapane. Author of his best season in the NHL with a total of 55 points, the 26-year-old player extended for the next three seasons.
