Because the 1st star of the game has been offered again to the goalkeeper Carey Price after he intercepted 41 of the 43 shots received (.093). Because the Habs started the evening with a bang, shooting eight times in the first 2 minutes of the game

It was following the excellence of the two goalkeepers that the first goal of the game did not finally fall until the 46th minute, by Corey perry, then by Tyler toffoli, both in special situations and in less than 100 seconds. TJ Brodie and Jason spezza however, managed to tie the game in the last eight minutes of regulation time to force an overtime period.

In Boston where 17,400 were allowed, the NY Islanders were unable to contain the Czech David Pastrnak who scored a hat-trick!
