News – NHL: Marc-André Fleury wins the Vézina
NHL general managers elect goalkeeper Marc-André Fleury as the best goalkeeper of the last season. He was a finalist at Vézina for the first time in his career. He placed 3rd this season in wins (26), goals against average (1.98) and efficiency rating (.928), while signing six shutouts in 36 games. Better yet, Fleury took 3rd place in NHL history for wins and 3rd place for shutout number.
German Philipp grubauer was also a finalist for the first time. He has signed seven shutouts, in addition to placing th in wins (30) and goals against average (1.95).
Finally, the Russian Andrei Vasilevskiy dominated the NHL with 31 wins. He also led his team to the Stanley Cup final for the second consecutive season.
