new AOC screen in collaboration with Porsche Design!

Porsche Design and AOC collaborate again and offer us a new high-end screen. This time, it’s a model with a 27″ slab. In short, what do we have for 499 €? We look at that.

PD27S : a monitor with a neat look by Porsche Design !

AOC Porsche Design PD27SOn the program, the two brands provide us with a monitor equipped with a 27″ type panel IPS. The latter displays a resolution QHD (2560 x 1440) as well as 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC). We will also note a good reactivity of the whole with a frequency of 170 Hz and a latency of 1 ms.

At the image level, the brand announces a wide color space. Range coverage sRGB and DCI-P3 are 99% and 95% respectively. With this, the advertised brightness is 350 cd/m² with peaks at 400 cd/m². On the contrast side, there is a static ratio of 1000:1. Finally, we have a certification DisplayHDR400 and 178° vertical and horizontal viewing angles.

However, that’s not all, since this version retains the same footing as the PD32M which we told you about earlier this year. The base is therefore very elaborate by highlighting an aluminum construction. With this, we can also count on the presence of lighting LightFX on the back of the screen or on two 5W speakers with SDR.

Finally, the bill remains quite high with its 499 € as we told you at the beginning of the article.

Here is the technical sheet!
