NBA: Billy Donovan is 4th COVID-19 protocol coach
Chicago Bulls coach Billy Donovan’s name has been added to COVID-19 protocol, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Donovan joins Frank Vogel of the Los Angeles Lakers, Rick Carlisle of the Indiana Pacers and Alvin Gentry of the Sacramento Kings.
Chicago’s Billy Donovan is the fourth NBA coach to enter into Covid protocols, including the Lakers’ Frank Vogel, Indiana’s Rick Carlisle and Sacramento’s Alvin Gentry. Bulls assistant Chris Fleming will be acting head coach in Donovan’s absence.

Bulls assistant Chris Fleming will replace him as head coach during his absence.
Earlier in December, the Bulls had up to 10 players on COVID-19 protocol and two of their games were moved.
The players will all be available on Sunday against the Pacers.
