NBA: a two-way contract for Sekou Doumbouya at the Los Angeles Lakers

Sekou Doumbouya (2,03m, 20 years old) will sign a “two-way contract ”with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Former Poitevin and Limougeaud Sekou Doumbouya had previously been transferred from the Detroit Pistons to the New Jersey Nets and then to the Houston Rockets, who had cut him. It is therefore the second “two-way contract” of the Californian club with another Frenchman, Joël Ayayi. He will thus be able to play in the G-League and the NBA for a maximum of 50 matches.

15th pick in the 2019 draft, Doumbouya has not yet convinced that he really has his place in the NBA. He has so far turned 5.6 points and 2.8 rebounds in 94 games.
