Nathan MacKinnon signs eight-year extension with Colorado Avalanche

By winning the Stanley Cup in 2022, the team’s third championship in franchise history, MacKinnon earned himself a significant raise. The new deal will take effect after the 2022-23 season, with MacKinnon currently signed to a seven-year contract with a $6.3 million AAV.
