Nashville Predators Alexandre Carrier to miss 4-6 weeks with upper body injury



Nashville Predators president of hockey operations and general manager David Poile announced that defenseman Alexandre Carrier will be out for four to six weeks with an upper-body injury.

Carrier was unable to complete Tuesday night’s 2-1 win over the Winnipeg Jets and was noted day by day. Carrier recorded just 4:40 of ice time and found himself in a fight with 6-foot-8 Logan Stanley during the first period.

The 26-year-old has eight points (two goals, six assists) in 40 games this season. During his 113-game NHL career, Gravel made saves in Los Angeles, Edmonton and Toronto.
