Grosjean feels frustrated (...)

Romain Grosjean was one of three drivers to be caught in the same corner during the Indianapolis 500 Miles. Rinus VeeKay and Callum Ilott lost control in the same conditions, and the Frenchman does not understand why he suffered the same fate in this corner.

« It’s okay, it’s okay, I’m just disappointed to end this way » said Grosjean. « What happened? I have no idea. I lost the rear end all of a sudden, without any warning. »

« Two guys were surprised in that corner. It was a corner where my car was pretty good all race. So I don’t know what happened. I didn’t try anything different. »

« I was behind Marco [Andretti], I was saving a lot of fuel and was happy with the balance. So I do not know. We will try to analyze and understand and move on. »

« Understand to come back stronger »

Grosjean is disappointed for the moment, after having discovered the month of May in Indianapolis, one of the myths of IndyCar: « Right now it’s bittersweet because that’s not how I wanted to finish the race, really. I wanted to have a good race. »

« We didn’t make a brilliant save, and I don’t know what happened on the map on the restarts. I felt like I was lacking a lot of power, and I was losing places on every restart. »

« I have to understand that, I have to understand what we can do better, and I have to understand why I spun, to come back stronger next week and the week after. »
