The federal popular initiative against compulsory vaccination was filed Thursday in Bern. More than 125,200 people signed the text, announced the Swiss Freedom Movement (MLS).
The text of the initiative specifies that « the person concerned must not be punished for having refused to give his consent, nor suffering social or professional disadvantages ».
Not just the Covid
The requirement is not linked only to the coronavirus, said Richard Koller, president of the Swiss Freedom Movement, in a video from Keystone-ATS. It also applies « to other vaccines, chips and other digital information that would be implanted in the body, » he added.
Compulsory vaccination is already possible in certain cases, when the Federal Council decides. The law on epidemics reserves this possibility for « endangered population groups, particularly exposed persons and persons carrying out certain activities ».
The initiative “Stop compulsory vaccination” was launched by the Swiss Freedom Movement (MLS), headquartered in Ostermundigen (BE).
The Lucerne UDC national councilor Yvette Estermann, the actor Marco Rima as well as the opponent to vaccination Daniel Trappitsch are members. The latter was notably a member of the “No Billag” committee.
