Montreal Canadiens defeat Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 4 of NHL Finals

The Tampa Bay Lightning could have been crowned champion Monday, after Game 4 of the NHL Finals. But the Montreal Canadiens decided otherwise, winning at home (3-2 ap). The Quebec franchise, seriously behind in this final, is therefore only led three rounds to one.

Josh Anderson (16th) and Alexander Romanov (49th) have twice given the advantage to Montreal. But the Lightning has each time returned to the score, thanks to Barclay Goodrow (38th) and Pat Maroon (54th). In overtime, Anderson finally won the Canadiens over, after 3’57  » of extra playing time.

Carey Price, the Montreal goaltender, also stood out, making 32 saves. Game 5 of the final will be played Wednesday at Tampa Bay. The Florida franchise could thus be sacred at home. What will rejoice Jane Castor, the mayor of the city, who had asked Sunday, if the Lightning could not grant a « Little break » to his opponent, in order to then win a fourth victory in front of his home crowd.
