Monterey Car Week 2022 – Star cars featured at Pebble Beach and The Quail
Like every year at the same time, it’s time for Monterey Car Week! The festivities for this unmissable American automotive event begin this Wednesday, August 17, 2022 with the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca and continue over the weekend with The Quail A Motorsports Gathering on Friday… ending Sunday with Pebble Beach. Concours d’Elegance.
And as always, the event promises to keep all its promises in terms of automotive passion. Supercars, hypercars, concepts and novelties, without forgetting of course the most beautiful old cars in the world: we will be amazed! And here is a brief overview of what awaits you in the coming days!
Acura Precision EV concept

Acura is no stranger to Car Week. Last year we saw the new NSX Type S for the first time, and it was also the first mention of the return of the Integra. This year should be no less special. Acura introduces the Precision EV concept to show the design language of its future electric vehicles.
Audi S1 E-Tron Quattro Hoonitron

We’ve seen Ken Block’s Audi S1 E-Tron Quattro Hoonitron in photos, but we’re finally going to get a glimpse of this electric rally car in person in Monterey. Joining the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion alongside an iconic 1985 Audi Sport Quattro S1 Group B, the Hoonitron will race around Laguna Seca starting August 17.
Bentley Mulliner Batur

Bentley is doing it big this year. The upcoming Mulliner Batur will introduce the world to the automaker’s new design language for Bentley’s electric age. This limited-edition GT car will succeed last year’s Bacalar, and one can only imagine its price tag.
BMW M4 CSL / M3 50 years


BMW has two big debuts planned for Monterey: the new M4 CSL and the M3 50 Jahre Edition. The first coupe boasts 550 horsepower and a 0-100 time of 3.6 seconds, making it the most powerful M4 ever built. The special edition M3, meanwhile, revives iconic M car colors like Techno Violet and Deep Interlagos Blue.
Cadillac Celestial Concept

We got our first look at the stunning Celestiq back in July when the luxury sedan made its virtual debut. With its gigantic body and lavish interior – complete with a massive 55-inch touchscreen – the Celestiq will make its first in-person debut in Monterey.
Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster

What’s better than an 1817 horsepower hypercar with a top speed of 311 miles per hour? That same speed without a roof. Hennessey will show off its highly anticipated Venom F5 Roadster at Monterey Auto Week this year, and while we don’t know all the details yet, we can expect performance to be close to that of the coupe. .
DeLorean Alpha5

DeLorean is back – and the stunning Alpha5 is making its world debut at the Pebble Beach contest. With a battery capacity of over 100 kilowatt hours, the all-electric DeLorean promises a range of 300 miles and a 0-60 mph time of just 3.4 seconds when it goes into production.
Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato / Urus Evo


It is not yet confirmed, but Lamborghini could present up to three novelties in Monterey. The Huracan Sterrato and a variant of the Lamborghini Urus SUV are both expected to hit the lawns at Pebble Beach – and maybe even a third model if we’re lucky.
Lucid Air Stealth Edition

The Lucid Air has undergone a radical makeover for Monterey. The new Stealth Edition dresses the sedan in black accents on no less than 35 exterior parts, ranging from the front fascia and mirror caps to the wheels and rear spoiler. A stealth version!
Meyers Manx 2.0

Just like DeLorean, the Meyers Manx is back. This time, the iconic buggy returns with an all-electric version that includes a premium 40 kilowatt-hour battery pack and up to 480 km of electric range. But if you want one, you have to hurry. The company is only offering 50 copies for the 2023 model year … at an undisclosed price.
Tribute to the Porsche 911 « Sally » from Cars

Sally Carrera, one of the star characters in the film Cars from Pixar, turns 20 this year. For the occasion, Porsche will present in Monterey a 911 tribute to Sally, based on a modern 992. She won’t have eyes in the windshield – as far as we know – but she’ll sport the same metallic blue paint job as the animated character.
Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II

The new Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II debuts at Monterey Car Week. The iconic luxury car sports an updated exterior design for 2023 that includes new wheel options and a refreshed grille, as well as an interior that’s more opulent than ever.
SSC Tuatara Striker

The SSC Tuatara, which reaches a speed of 282 miles per hour (453 km/h), has a little brother. SSC will unveil the new track-only Tuatara dubbed the Striker. Featuring a huge rear wing and gigantic diffuser, the Striker has triple the downforce of the standard Tuatara at speeds over 160 mph, but it retains its 1750 horsepower powertrain.
