Montceau – The party continues with the Festi’Sport edition

Summer is not over, especially since Montceau-les-Mines continues to host events until the start of the school year on September 1, 2022. Activities in the Plessis and Bois du Verne districts, soon to be opening of the carnival, Friday August 26 from 2 p.m. and, Saturday, at the Grands Parcs (municipal golf side), it will be the departmental sports festival, Montceau being Terre de Jeux.

This event called Festi’Sport proposed by the Department, in collaboration with CDOS 71 (departmental Olympic and sports committee) and the city of Montceau-les-Mines, is linked to Paris 2024, the global sporting event.

Also, this Saturday, August 27, 2022, twenty associations will offer from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Parc Saint Louis, animations with the theme, the number 71. It will be a question of taking up challenges that revolve around the number of the department of Saône-et-Loire .

Montceau is going to pull out all the stops on this occasion to promote the sport in a place that lends itself perfectly to it.

Note however that the fencing clubs and Team Montceau Foot will not be present as announced.

Let us also remember, in another genre, that the association forum will be held on Saturday September 3, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Embarcadère and at the Ateliers du Jour in the same format as in previous years.
