MLS: Union secures the services of a reliable advocate


The Philadelphia Union announced they had offered a multi-season contract extension to defenseman Olivier Mbaizo on Tuesday.

The Major League Soccer (MLS) team did not disclose the number of years and financial terms of this new agreement.

Mbaizo has been a member of the Union since 2018. After mainly playing for the Pennsylvania team’s school club, the Cameroonian has made his place in the starting XI of the MLS roster in 2020.
