MLS: Shaqiri and Chicago pass on the right side of the bar – rts.ch
Chicago and Xherdan Shaqiri tipped on the right side of the bar. After their 3-2 success in Charlotte, the Fire is virtually qualified for the MLS playoffs. In front of 32,538 spectators, Chicago won 3-2 to sign a 4th victory in 5 games.
Chicago’s victory came with a brace from Poland’s Kacper Przybylko and a pass from Argentina’s Federico Navarro.
Xherdan Shaqiri delivered another choice performance. Author of 2 assists with a header for Navarro’s 2-1 and a laser pass for Przybylko’s 3-2, the Basel player was able to impose his mark in this meeting.
Now 7th in the Eastern Conference, Chicago will challenge leader Philadelphia on home soil next Saturday.
