MLS: Sebastian Giovinco would have agreed with the Sampdoria club in Serie A
Sebastian Giovinco is finally preparing to sign a new contract. But it won’t be with Toronto FC.
After training with his former MLS side recently, the Italian is reportedly close to officially joining Sampdoria in Serie A, reports journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The former MLS MVP left the TFC – then unable to meet his salary demands – in January 2019 after his contract was sold to a club in Saudi Arabia.
Giovinco, who still owns a residence in Toronto, left the Saudi club in August and has never made a secret of his desire to return to the TFC.
