MLS: Kevin Gilmore leaves CF Montreal

Following a mutual decision, CF Montreal announced Tuesday that Kevin Gilmore, President and CEO, is stepping down. Gilmore will continue to act as a consultant to the organization, focusing on special cases until the end of this season.

“The context of the last 18 months has been very difficult, both in terms of the pandemic and that of the Club, and very trying on a personal level for me and my family. This ultimately led to my decision to leave the organization, Gilmore said in a statement. I am very grateful for the time I spent with CF Montreal and I thank the owners of the Club, the Board of Directors and the team for giving me the opportunity to work with them. «

« We are very proud of Kevin’s contribution to the management of the team in the field and to the reorganization of the technical team, » explained the members of the board of directors of CF Montreal. We have had many successes under his leadership and he has had a positive contribution to the overall performance of the Club. We fully understand and support his decision to step down. On behalf of the organization, we would like to thank Kevin for his years of service and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors. «
