He will probably not be the only one to be moved by this departure. With six seasons spent at Real Madrid, three under the colors of Naples and as many at Juventus, the native of Brest will leave a mark in the history of football. That of a formidable center-forward in the club and with the Argentine selection.

Since 2020 and his arrival in MLS, Higuain has scored almost thirty goals. Currently 6th in the Eastern Conference with Inter Miami two days before the end of the regular phase. Higuain still has the possibility of playing the final stages to end his career in style.

A nice track record

It was at Real Madrid (2006-2013), that the center forward began to forge his record, with three Spanish championship titles (2007, 2008, 2012).

In Naples, where he only won the Italian Super Cup, he especially distinguished himself on an individual level, finishing top scorer in Serie A in 2015-2016. His 36 goals in 35 games remains the record for a season, then equaled by Ciro Immobile with Lazio in 2019-2020. He was then Italian champion three times with Juventus (2017, 2018, 2020) and a Champions League finalist (2017).

Higuain still lifted a European trophy with Chelsea in 2019, that of the Europa League, even if he only played one match this campaign. Finally, in the last three years, within the team co-owned by David Beckham, he has scored 27 goals in 67 games, without inflating his record.
