MLS: Charlotte’s expansion team revealed its name, Charlotte FC

Charlotte’s expansion team in MLS has unveiled their name and logo and it will simply be Charlotte FC.

In the center of the logo is a crown, which refers to the city’s royal heritage, which was named in honor of Queen Sophie-Charlotte, wife of British King George III.

The four main colors of the club are blue, black, silver and white.

Charlotte FC will debut in MLS in the 2022 season.
