Already two months have passed since the start of the MLB season. There are only four left. Time passes too quickly.
During the last month, several teams have taken their bait to go, others have collapsed. The same goes for the players.
In fact, the MLB has unveiled its all-star team for the month of May.
Among those who have stood out the most over the past four weeks, we can note the names of Max Muncy, Fernando Tatis Jr. and Adolis Garcia.
The latter had an extraordinary month shooting 11 home runs, a record among rookies for the Texas Rangers. Too bad the Texan team is languishing in the bottom of major baseball.
In Tatis Jr.’s case, his absence following injury and COVID-19 was quickly forgotten as he has maintained an OPS of 1.238 since his return. He’s been instrumental in keeping the San Diego Padres high in the National League Eastern Section.
As for Muncy, he hit 10 long balls in addition to posting an OPS of 1.184. Even in a talented lineup, he clearly stood out.
These three players, and the majority of the others on this roster, will take part in the All-Star Game which will be played on July 13 at Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies.
